Julie Smith, CIC

Julie Smith joined MEMIC in May 2023 as a Senior Production Underwriter in May 2023. Her background and experience in insurance includes multi-line commercial underwriting for national and regional carriers, as well as agency sales and marketing management. “I am really looking forward to continuing my established relationships while making new connections and expanding our book of business with MEMIC,” she says.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Radford University in Virginia and earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2004. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two sons, her extended family, and her friends. Julie resides in Charlotte, N.C.
